Rural communities of various regions and states in the country are proof to the ever lasting collaboration of people and their art. They’ve been passed on for generations.

The art and craft Centre has been in existence for above 25 years now.

Hum Karigar was born out of our desire to promote and preserve Indian art forms and to provide authentic art to collectors and enthusiasts. Our goal is to ensure that the artisans are well compensated for their work and effort.

In the last 25 plus years, we have procured work from artists who belong to traditional households where the technique and craft has been existing for centuries. They hail from regions that are exclusive to such art practices.

With the changing times, we have tried to created a harmony between traditional means and modern tastes.

 The work of Hum Karigar have been well received and duly appreciated not just in India but also to a diverse range of clients across the globe.
